About the Regina Ski Club

The Regina Ski Club (RSC) is a volunteer run organization that has existed since 1934. The club has grown and adapted to many changes in skiing during its lifetime. The RSC has about 500 plus members per year and provides programs, events and trips for beginner, recreational and competitive, young and older skiers alike with a program for skiers with disabilities. The organization is incorporated as a non profit entity through the Gov’t of Saskatchewan. We are registered with the National Sport Trust Fund (NSTF), so that donations made for the club through NSTF are eligible for income tax receipt.

Our mission is to create opportunities for recreational and competitive Nordic (cross country) and Alpine (downhill) skiing and snowboarding by promoting lifelong winter sport participation, fun and social interaction (click here to see complete Mission Statement).

The Regina Ski Club is one of 24 provincial ski clubs that are linked through Cross Country Saskatchewan (CCS) which is administered through SaskSport. CCS is in turn a member of Cross County Canada (CCC). RSC has partnership agreements with the City of Regina, Wascana Center and the Government of Saskatchewan that outline respective commitments pertaining to trail development, trail grooming and equipment acquisition and maintenance.

A Board of Directors manages club affairs, through monthly meetings, held on the first Monday in September through to May. Some directors are elected and some are appointed from the various program sectors. Directors hold office for one year and may be re-elected each year. Check the Contact Us menu item for a list of current Directors and their phone numbers.
