These program details and schedules are for the upcoming 2017-2018 ski season.

ALPINE TRIPS 2018

Two Montana destinations again this season! Our alpine trips are a bargain that is hard to match. Listed prices for the Bridger Bowl and Whitefish trips include bus transportation, a 3 day lift ticket, 4 nights hotel with full hot breakfasts, and a few group functions.
In short, you need pay only for lunch, dinner, drinks, and personal expenses. All prices are in Canadian Dollars.

Fred Cameron Memorial Canmore Trip

Thursday February 1 to Monday February 5, 2018

NOTE: This is a nordic trip with downhill options by special arrangement. Lift tickets and accommodation costs are not included in the above prices for the Canmore trip. There are several excellent alpine ski resorts in the vicinity of Canmore, including Sunshine (near Banff) and Lake Louise.

The departure is from the Harbour Landing Walmart parking lot on Thursday February 1 at 12:30. The bus returns on Monday February 5.
Accommodation in Canmore is at the Rocky Mountain Ski Lodge again this year.

Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding
Bridger Bowl Ski Area.
Bridger has 2,000 acres of terrain at a maximum of 8,700 feet. Average annual snowfall is 350 inches!
There are over 75 runs (longest 3 miles) served by 8 lifts. With four large bowls within the boundaries, the ski area offers wide-open terrain with a variety of landscapes including long, wide-open slopes, glades, chutes and gullies.
Snowflake lift and the new Snowflake Hut offer beginning skiers and riders a fantastic area to learn.
Generally speaking, the ski area offers first-time beginner slopes in the base area, novice terrain across the lower middle, wide-open intermediate runs in the center, advanced open bowl terrain in the upper third and, finally, expert terrain coming off the ridge top. Expect moderate temperatures and high chance of fresh snow!

For Cross Country ski enthusiasts
Bohart Ranch grooms 30 kilometers of quality XC ski trails appropriate for both the recreational and competitive skier on private and Forest Service terrain. For nordic trail details, visit Cross Country Skiing Bohart Ranch.

Accommodation
Hibernation House
is ski in and ski out. It has the best hearty hot breakfast on the mountain. This is a budget hotel, but with the social events, you will likely only sleep there! Most rooms come with 1 queen and a set of bunks and a few with 2 queen beds. Hotel has a hot tub, free Wi-Fi, inside ski storage, new flat screens and mattresses.

Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding
Whitefish Mountain Resort
has 3,000 acres, 105 marked runs with 300” of snow annually. This is a big mountain with 14 lifts including 3 high speed quads. Summit elevation is 6,817 feet with 2,353 feet of vertical. 12% beginner / 40% intermediate / 42% advanced / 6% expert. The Mountain offers something for everyone with excellent beginner terrain! There are 7 restaurants, 4 accessible by skiing. Whitefish is Ranked #3 for service, #5 for value and #10 for overall satisfaction by SKI Magazine readers. Expect moderate temperatures. Lunch at Hellroaring saloon is exceptional and the legendary Bierstube is the place to visit after skiing. We will make at least 1 trip into Whitefish to take in the great restaurants, bars ($1 beer last year!) and dance! Enjoy a true rustic Montana vibe.

For Cross Country ski enthusiasts
Glacier Nordic Club grooms and maintain trails in two locations:
the Glacier Nordic Center located at the Golf Course at Whitefish Lake,
and the Big Mountain Trails located at the base of Whitefish Mountain Resort.
Skiers of all ages and abilities enjoy the golf course trails; advanced skiers enjoy the Big Mountain trails (steep and curvy descents/ascents).
